Helsinki’s main Christmas Market is open 28.11.-22.12.2025 at the Senate Square in the heart of the historical center. Underneath the Christmas tree it is possible to get unique and sustainable Christmas gifts made by locals, enjoy Christmas music while sipping on mulled wine and eating Karelian pies or gingerbread. The carousel offers free rides for all ages and every once in a while Santa Claus or Mrs. Santa will pop by. Right next to the Christmas Market you can also discover the cozy, old blocks of Torikorttelit located in between the Senate Square and the Market Square. The buildings and lovely courtyards of Torikorttelit are full of charming cafés, restaurants and boutiques.
