Room 4. Bedroom
The walls of the bedroom are divided into fields and decorated in a rococo style. According to family records, the bedrooms were furnished with comfortable and fine furniture. They also served as social rooms. The French custom of receiving guests in a bedchamber became widespread in the cold North, partly because bedchambers were also kept warm in winter. The warmth also made it comfortable to keep a desk in the sleeping chamber.on top of it is Ehrensvärd's seal stamp, which bears his election slogan "Ykstottinen", which he had chosen in 1748 when he was made a Knight of the Royal Order of the Sword. Ehrensvärd thus wished to emphasise his allegiance to Finland.
There is a firing port behind the bed in the sleeping chamber of the Kommendantinthaus, and the guns could have been rolled through the double doors from the firing platform to the inside if necessary.
