The beloved Esplanade, nicknamed Espa, is Finland's most famous park and the green heart of Helsinki, where people come to see, be, hear music, watch shows and have a picnic. The park was designed by Helsinki's chief architect Carl Ludvig Engel. The park's formal style is architectural, with straight tree lines and planting.

Stockmann in the city centre is one of the largest department stores in Europe and has been a central landmark of the city since 1930. Top brands in fashion, beauty and interior design, a high-end grocery store, cafés and restaurants - all under one roof.

Torikorttelit is Helsinki's historic centre, full of new life. Three blocks of picturesque streets and buildings, charming courtyards, cosy restaurants and cafés, personal boutiques and a maritime city centre atmosphere.

Stop off for lunch at one of the restaurants in the area, enjoy a relaxing day in the Esplanade Park or the bustle of the Market Square.
