Temppeliaukio Church hosts annually up to 400 concerts. Some of these take place during the day and are included in the entrance fee. The pianist Sid Hille has been playing live at Temppeliaukio for over 20 years and performs often with his solo piano concert and sometimes with guest artists. Hille´s live recordings from Temppeliaukio are also for sale at the front desk. Less regularly there is also the chance to hear Henri Hersta or one of our other organists play on the great organ.

The main part are evening concerts with a variety of music genres represented through the year. There are artists both from Finland and abroad, as the acoustics of Temppeliaukio Church is world-famous among many musicians. 

There are seats for around 550 concert visitors on the bottom floor and for some 150 up in the gallery department. The seats are unnumbered at most concerts and doors usually open one hour prior to the event.
