The late 19th-century neo-Gothic furnishings in the Pillar Hall are quite rare in Finland. In interiors, the style was typically used in libraries, studies, and billiard rooms. Typical neo-Gothic details in furniture are pointed arches, rosette windows, and the use of dark wood. The trumeau mirror was purchased by Amos at the Mustio Manor auction in the early 1920s. This Empire-style mirror was made in Sweden. Mirrors of this type usually had a matching console table.

The crystal chandeliers were acquired by Amos during the 1936 expansion of the restaurant Royal, located right next to the Swedish Theatre in Helsinki. As a co-owner of Royal, Amos was involved in commissioning new chandeliers for its dining room. He made sure that enough chandeliers were ordered to have spare ones for Söderlångvik. The lift was one of the last additions Amos made to the house in 1961, but he never got to use it himself.
