Welcome to the museum Ett Hem!

The museum Ett Hem is a home museum donated to the Åbo Akademi University Foundation by consul Alfred Jacobsson and his wife Hélène. In 1932, the museum was opened to the public on Hämeenkatu, the original location of the Jacobsson home. Since 1965 the museum is located in the current building on Piispankatu. The museum displays collections of art, objects and furniture collected by the couple.

Learn more about the museum and the interiors of the rooms by clicking on the cards on the front page. The rooms are displayed in order. The first row contains the history of the museum and its founders.
