In Mrs Jacobsson’s boudoir the visitor is immediately faced by the large portrait of the mistress of the house. Most of the works of art are by Hugo Backmansson, who also painted the Consul’s portrait in 1922. Noteworthy among the other paintings are two views from Turku by Santeri Salokivi; a landscape, "Windmill Hill", by Venny Soldan-Brofeldt; and below an exquisite watercolour by Gabriel Engberg, dated 1900. In one of the corners, on a wall console, there is a statuette, "The Morning", which is an early work by Ville Vallgren. On the window wall we see, among others, an Italian landscape by Edvard Westman and a colour etching by Albert Edelfelt.
