The operational activities at Haltia are managed by Finland, Naturally Experiences, which provides outdoor services for Retkipaikka. The company has been awarded both the Green Activities certificate and the STF label. The company is committed to, among other things, raising environmental awareness among staff and customers, improving energy and water efficiency, and reducing the environmental impact of its operations.

Restaurant Haltia, operated by Delicatessen Restaurant Services, has been awarded the EcoCompass certificate. At Restaurant Haltia, excess heat generated by the kitchen equipment is recovered and efficiently utilized. The restaurant's food is primarily of Finnish origin, with an emphasis on locally produced, organic, and Fair Trade products as much as possible. The restaurant offers vegetarian and vegan options, and staff are trained and educated in this area. Additionally, the amount of biowaste has been reduced, waste management sorting has been enhanced, and ecological and biodegradable products are used.
