Operas are performed at the Helsinki Music Centre in the Sonore Hall. The hall’s acoustics are designed specifically for vocal music and feature an orchestra pit and an exceptionally deep stage, accommodating both singers and opera sets.

The Sonore Hall is a space that offers versatile possibilities for staging large productions such as opera. Its fixed, gently sloping seating provides excellent views of the stage. Outstanding stage lighting and a high-quality sound system create the perfect conditions for setting a variety of atmospheres. The wide stage, spanning the entire width of the hall, provides ample space for performers and, when needed, for sets as well.
