From the east balcony, you can get a particularly good view of the development of the Kallio residential area. When Kallio Church was completed, it was one of the first stone buildings in the area. By that time, the neighboring pink Ihantola building and the elementary school had already been completed. Further away in Karhupuisto, you can see the Kallio Library, which was completed in the same year as the church, in 1912.
