Inside this modest cabinet hides the bell mechanism of the church. Both the cabinet and the mechanism are original. The bells of Kallio Church have been mechanized from the very beginning, and when they were completed, they represented the pinnacle of technology. The lower, largest bells traditionally ring during services by swinging. The four highest bells exist solely for the composition by Sibelius.
