From the hall, vaulted doorways lead to the guest room, the drawing room, the dining room and stairs up to the first floor. The brick floor was a detail typical of Bryggman’s architecture of the period. No fire has ever been lit in the fireplace. Instead, it has served to surround a stove and subsequently a radiator.

The ceiling and walls of the hall are filled with paintings by Axel Haartman. His great interest in history is shown in the decorative paintings in the hall. He drew his inspiration for them from Naantali’s medieval history, especially the medieval Bridgettine abbey Vallis Gratiae (Valley of Grace, in Swedish Nådens dal, from where Naantali gets its Swedish name of Nådendal), founded in 1438.
