The Dining Room

The Dining Room
The dining room is light and airy. Glass doors lead to the large terrace and the garden outside, and the façade facing the garden is considerably more open than the relatively closed side of the house facing the street. The dining room ceiling is covered in fabric, but there is nothing to indicate that Axel planned to paint a fresco here.
The circular dining table was previously owned by Axel’s great-grandmother. The radiator cover and the two small glass cabinets were designed by Axel. The blue and white china on the walls was made by Rörstrand in the mid-nineteenth century and was inherited from Axel’s uncle Rabbe Wrede.
The doors in the far corner of the room lead to the serving room and the kitchen. The housekeeper’s room was next to the kitchen.
