The organ has a total of 7,999 pipes. Except for the large pipes in the façade, the pipes are located inside the wooden organ case in pipe sections on four different levels. These pipes are made of either metal or wood. The pipe sections contain different stops, which are made up of individual pipes. The pipes within a single stop are all the same, forming a row of pipes that produce the same tonal color, with the pipe lengths determining the pitch. There are 124 stops in the organ.

In front of you, you can also see the light-colored console. The organist selects the desired stops or their combinations using the switches on the console. The organist can also adjust the volume by opening and closing different pipe sections and the large doors of the organ case using the pedals on the console.

In fact, there are two consoles: in addition to the fixed console you see, there is also a movable console that can be brought to the stage. When playing on the nearby console, the connection between the keys and the organ pipes is mechanical, as is typical for organs. However, the movable console is connected electrically to the rest of the organ's mechanism.

You can now peek inside the organ and see the pipe sections on different levels by watching a short video on your device.
