Saint Panteleimon was an unmercenary healer during the 4th century. He helped those who had no one else to turn to and was prosecuted and martyred during Diocletianic Persecution of 305. People often pray to him for health.

Above the icon of Saint Panteleimon is Saint Nicholas Konchanov of Novgorod, a Fool-for-Chirst. He can be seen carrying a cabbage head on the icon, as he was known for settling a feud between two towns by making light of their foolish feud by mimicking it with another person. The mimic feud ended in him throwing a cabbage head at his opponent, earning him the nickname Cabbage head.
