We are Hannu Medina and Raúl Medina - Lifeof2men — storytellers, LGBTQ+ advocates. We are also the queer visionaries behind Queerland Media, Queerland App, and Queerland Map.

Our journey began with one simple realization: Finland, for all its beauty, lacked visible, inclusive communication for the LGBTQ+ community. In 2018, we founded the We Speak Gay Community to change that — not with noise, but with clarity, creativity, and courage.

Since then, we’ve been building platforms that don’t just speak to queer people, but with them. Through Gay Travel Finland, We Speak Gay, and now Queerland, we’ve created spaces that celebrate queer joy, queer voices, and queer futures. We’re not interested in rainbow-washing or corporate pride. We’re building real, unapologetic representation.

Queerland isn’t a brand. It’s a movement. It’s a map. It’s a media space. It’s a digital home. And most of all, it’s a collective effort. What matters here isn’t where you come from, what you do, or who you love — it’s how you show up, how you lift others, and how loudly you dare to be yourself.

We created Queerland for the artists, the outcasts, the dreamers, the rebels. For everyone who’s been made to feel like they don’t belong. We’re here to say: You do. You always have.
