The organs of the Music House are suitable for performing all kinds of music: they are an instrument of the future, not bound to a particular era or genre. The completely new possibilities offered by the organs create new organ compositions and strengthen the organ culture in Finland as more and more composers, music students, and listeners become interested in them. The organs elevate the Music House among the great concert halls of the world.
Thank you for participating in the Music House organ tour! The organ was played by organist Pekka Suikkanen, who was part of the design team for the instrument. We welcome you to hear the organs also in our concerts!
You can now return to the Main Hall. If you borrowed headphones from the Music House, please return them to the Info Desk in the Main Hall. You will receive a discount on coffee and pastry from the Music House's outdoor terrace or café by showing the last picture from this point in the Reveel app.
Finally, you will hear Edward Elgar's magnificent piece XX, played on the organs of the Music House.
