The work “here with you”, including the preparatory workshops, is a unique, long-term performance in which the artist highlights art’s ability to create unexpected encounters and reflections in everyday life. The piece deepens Astra’s sense of community and perception of time. By combining physical and digital dimensions, it creates room for genuine interaction and connection. According to the artist, the work leaves a lasting impression and thus becomes an influential part of Astra’s identity.

The work is both personal and collective, crossing boundaries and exceeding the duration of traditional performance formats. During the performance, participants can ask Rönkkö to carry out an action or gesture that feels meaningful in the moment. The work welcomes both Astra’s users and a wider audience.

The selection was made through an art call on the theme “Encounters in time”, in which five artists or artist groups were invited to propose works that reflect shared experiences, transience and future visions. After a two-stage evaluation, Rönkkö’s work was chosen.
