KokoTeatteri’s main work for autumn 2025 is Cristal Snow: One Woman Snow, a solo work. It is a performance where memories, music and drag meet. Performances at KokoTeatteri 3.10.-14.11.

One Woman Snow is Cristal Snow’s first solo work. This autofictional show takes the viewer through her multi-generational journey: about the women and images of women who have influenced her, the history of drag through her eyes – and what happens when one’s own identity is at the same time a performer and a living, breathing person. The work is at the same time a personal narrative and a more general discourse on identity, expression and being on stage. It examines honesty, roles and the freedom of storytelling.

“I have always dreamed of doing a one-man/one-woman show. I have had the title in my back pocket for about ten years: One Woman Snow. Now it is finally happening – at the same time as my 20-year career as an artist”, says Cristal Snow.

The work is directed by Anna Veijalainen, KokoTeatteri’s theatre director. Timo Hirvonen is responsible for the music and singer-songwriter Jutta Annala is also involved. The visual appearance of the performance is supported by previews, which are the responsibility of Viivi Huuska. The production of the work has been supported by the Alfred Kordelin Foundation.
