Christmas Opening & Market
Welcome to Tyrnävä’s Festive Opening of the Christmas Season
Friday, November 28, starting at 6:00 p.m.
Join us as we joyfully open the Christmas season and light up the municipality’s Christmas lights!
Entrepreneurs, community groups, and residents:
Book your free market stall on the Christmas Street or at the indoor Christmas Market in Kivipirtti now: [email protected]
Santa Claus himself will arrive on Meijerikatu to chat with the little ones and listen to their gift wishes! The cheerful program and Christmas Market on the Christmas Street will offer a delightful evening for the whole family in the cozy atmosphere of Tyrnävä’s historic Dairy area.
There will be a large number of vendors both on the Christmas Street and at the Kivipirtti indoor Christmas Market! Payments can mostly be made by card or MobilePay, but we recommend bringing some cash as well.
At the Maitolaituri stage in the Dairy area, you can enjoy a performance of the Star Boys (Tiernapojat) and the traditional parish Christmas carol session, which has become a beloved annual tradition.
In front of Restaurant Pömilä, you can enjoy a traditional free porridge serving, made possible by Tyrnävän Yrittäjät (Tyrnävä Entrepreneurs) and the Mustavarikset Scouts (Partiolippukunta Tyrnävän Mustavarikset).
