Spend the day at Paloheinä
Paloheinä is one of Helsinki’s most popular outdoor recreation areas, offering plenty of ways to enjoy an active day in Finnish outdoors. For example, you can rent cross‑country skiing equipment, fat bikes or snowshoes from Suomen Latu Paloheinä and explore the wintry forest, or have fun sledding on the maintained hill. Stop at Café Palomaja (Kahvila Palomaja) for coffee or lunch, or warm up in the kota fireplace hut.
