The permanent exhibition of the Suomenlinna Museum presents the fortress's history of more than 270 years, including the Swedish, Russian and Finnish period: the Archipelago Fleet, dry dock, the time of the Finnish war, the daily life of the garrison, and the fortress's most recent decades as a cultural heritage site.
The museum's changing exhibitions focus on interesting topical themes. The museum's widescreen presentation Suomenlinna Experience presents the highlights of the fortress's history in several languages.
