In this original interpretation of Da Vinci's work, its author has expressed his own style, giving it a more contemporary and minimalist finish through the use of perspective and the play of colors. In this way, Leyton has introduced his personal touch of modernity to 'The Last Supper', while respecting the composition of the original work. The work is located on the rear facade of the central church of San José, has a larger dimension than the original, which is a mural painted in the convent of Santa María delle Grazie between 1495 and 1497, and pays tribute to the figure of the genius da Vinci, since during 2019 the 500th anniversary of his death is commemorated.
