Senate Square is a public square in the heart of Helsinki, surrounded by iconic neoclassical buildings including the Helsinki Cathedral, Government Palace, University of Helsinki Main Building, and National Library of Finland. It was designed by architect Carl Ludvig Engel in the early 19th century and is a symbol of Helsinki's history and culture.
