Unveiling the contemporary art of the century
The Museo de Arte de la Diputación (MAD) in Estepona exhibits works of contemporary art, specifically paintings of the XXI century by nationally acclaimed artists.
The Diputación de Málaga has been in charge of providing content to this space with works acquired through donations from artists who have exhibited in the different exhibition spaces of the institution, purchases of works from different plastic arts competitions held in the Diputación and made at the International Contemporary Art Fair (ARCO) in Madrid.
The MAD of Estepona houses works produced in the last 18 years by a large group of artists with a great representation of Malaga and Andalusia as the Malaga artists Dadi Dreucol, Enrique Dreucol, Enrique de la Torre, Enrique de la Torre, Enrique de la Torre, Enrique de la Torre and Enrique de la Torre.s Dadi Dreucol, Enrique Brinkman, Chema Lumbreras and José Carlos Casado; or the Andalusian Santiago Idánez from Jaén, Chema Cobo from Tarifa and Miki Leal from Seville. Also noteworthy are Judas Arrieta from Guipuzcoa and Andrés Buforn from Aragon.
In the other two rooms of the Casa Tejerinas there are temporary exhibitions.
