The Empire-style summer house in the manor garden was imported from Moisio Manor in Elimäki to the museum. It was built in the 1830s and is claimed to have been drawn by the German-born architect Carl Ludwig Engel. He is well known for designing the public edifices facing Senate Square in the center of Helsinki. The summer house imitates an ancient temple with its Doric columns. Inside, it is painted yellow, and its fixed furniture consists only of simple benches.
