Grain and tar were stored in these buildings. The threshing house was located outside the yard due to the risk of fire. It was used for threshing grain, which involved drying the bundles of harvested grain by heating them and separating the edible seeds. The storehouses and threshing houses originate from Säkylä and Siikainen in Satakunta.
