The chimneyless sauna, also known as a smoke sauna, was brought to Seurasaari from Kangasniemi in Southern Savo. It features an unmortared stone-built stove and a bathing bench supported by posts. Smoke from the stove escapes through gaps between the stones and exits through openings in the ceiling or walls.

This sauna is of the double-room type, meaning it includes a sauna room and a cooking shelter with an open hearth for heating water. In the rear wall, there is an opening through which water is directed straight to the well. The building was not only used for bathing but also served as a place for childbirth and beer malting.
