Louisa Ulrika of Prussia (1720–1782) was the Queen of Sweden from 1751 to 1771 as the wife of King Adolf Frederick. Born in Berlin into the House of Hohenzollern, she was the daughter of Frederick William I of Prussia and Sophia Dorothea of Hanover. Louisa Ulrika was known for her intelligence, strong will, and significant cultural influence, including her patronage of the arts and sciences. She was the mother of King Gustav III and King Charles XIII of Sweden. Her reign included attempts to increase royal power in Sweden's constitutional monarchy
