The three stone pillars that serve as the feet of the baptismal font are made of granite and symbolize the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The baptismal font itself is made of bronze and bears the artist's signature (Kauko Moisio) and the year "-69".

Baptisms are held at Temppeliaukio Church on weekends and these are always private events.
