Amos Anderson and his guests arrived at Söderlångvik along the shoreline road and through the southern gate. Before his arrival from the capital Helsinki, the shoreline road was raked in a herringbone pattern. Today, it serves as a footpath. The long sandy beach was constructed in the 1930s.
