The bells are three in number and play the notes F sharp, E and C sharp. They weigh 850, 1075 and 1560 kg respectively and were cast in 1932 by Oy Lokomo Ab in Tampere. The material is special chrome steel. Lokomo started producing steel bells in 1921, as the bronze used to cast bells often cracked in the cold. To give the church bells the right tone, they were ground in a carousel lathe. Lokomo produced a total of 321 identical bells, the last in 1958.
