The Meerlammi rock shelter is a natural attraction near the Haltia Gate. With its massive boulders, the open cave invites adventurers, and under the rocky overhang, it's a great spot to enjoy a picnic.

At the base of the cliff, there is an overhanging ledge. The rock face features impressive fractures that have created fascinating shapes. In front of the cliff are two very large boulders, with a narrow passage between them. One of the boulders has a cave-like crack that narrows inward, with a maximum height of 3–4 meters and a width of over a meter.

The Meerlammi rock shelter is about 1.5 kilometers from Haltia. The most direct route is to follow the Maahisenpolku trail halfway to the viewing platform, then continue along the green-marked Solvalla-Rundan trail for another half kilometer. The route has significant elevation changes!
