Helsinki Art Museum HAM has installed a bronze sculpture entitled Spring in Man by sculptor and art professor Laila Pullinen (1933-2015) at the Helsinki Music Hall. The work of art, which is over two metres high and weighs 320 kilograms, can be found at the corner of the building where Mannerheimintie and the People's Market meet.
The sculpture was commissioned for the lobby of the Kallio Office Building, originally completed in 1965. The work was selected by the Sculptors' Union to be exhibited at the Montreal World Exhibition in 1967. Since then it has been exhibited in the lower lobby of Helsinki City Hall and the Helsinki City Theatre.
