At the shore of Nuuksio’s Pitkäjärvi, you can enjoy stunning Finnish lake views, with the shores of Nuuksio National Park visible across the lake’s northwestern end. Nuuksio Pitkäjärvi is Espoo’s largest freshwater body after Lake Bodom, covering an area of about 2.5 square kilometers. The lake stretches approximately 6.9 kilometers in length but is quite narrow, with a width ranging from 400–500 meters in most places, narrowing to just 100 meters at its slimmest points. In the southern part of the lake, there is a deep area reaching 16 meters.
