Above the sofa, there is a portrait of Abraham Kingelin (1788–1849) by R. W. Ekman. Abraham Kingelin was Hélène's mother's father and one of the most prominent businessmen in Turku in the 19th century. Trade and shipping formed the core of his business, but Kingelin also founded, a textile factory and a steamship company.
