Victor Westerholm was the first curator of the Turku art museum. He and his wife Hilma were friends with Alfred and Hélène. There are eight works by Westerholm in the museum’s collections. The large painting Cows in a birch pasture is a well-known motif by Westerholm. The painting on the left was a gift for Hélène from the painter and bears a dedication in Swedish that can be translated to “To Mrs Helene Jacobsson from Victor Westerholm”.
