The portrait Elin Danielson-Gambogi depicts Alfred’s niece Walborg Jacobsson (1879–1974). Walborg was raised by Alfred and Hélène and they treated her as their own daughter. The portrait was painted in their home at Hämeenkatu. The Aura River can be seen through the window. The tambourine on the wall is decorated by Robert Lundberg and is part of the museum’s collection.
