The Plum Garden
In this spot, plum trees grew during Amos' time, which is why this new garden space has been named the Plum Garden. Each year, we create a diverse planting of annual flowering plants here to provide food and habitat for pollinating insects. The garden supports biodiversity in Söderlångvik's museum park throughout the year. Some plants are sown early in the spring and planted out as soon as the temperature allows. Other fast-growing flowers are directly sown in the beds in May. You are welcome to visit this place multiple times during the growing season to follow the entire development from early summer greenery to late summer's explosion of colors!
