This particular monetiere is of Oriental design, crafted from ebony wood with ivory inlays forming a mosaic that tells a story across the two main doors. Inside, it contains a series of drawers for holding various coins, currencies, or jewelry. Additionally, there is another small door that hides even more tiny compartments. Crafting these intricate tricks was a way for the cabinetmaker to showcase their skill and creativity
