The Haltia event area is located between the Haltia building and the shore of Lake Pitkäjärvi. The area features a public wilderness hut that is freely available for visitors. Firewood is provided in the hut for making fires.

Haltia regularly hosts open public events in the event area. The space can also be used for private events, organized by Haltia’s partner, Retkipaikka.
