On one of the end walls we can admire Albert Edelfelt’s large painting A Summer’s Evening. Above the other sofa group hangs a painting by the Scottish artist G. O. Reid called A Conspiracy. It was acquired at the Scottish art exhibition arranged in Turku in 1905. To the right is Gunnar Berndtson’s playful little painting Garden idyll, and to the left, a copy of a pastoral scene by Watteau.
