On the wall next to the fireplace, there are two works by Elin Danielson-Gambogi, one of these a beautifully composed watercolour showing three children in a meadow. On the chest of drawers stands a small bust by Ville Vallgren called The Prayer. The walls above the sofa ensemble are dominated by two large landscapes by Victor Westerholm and his Swedish friend Edvard Westman: one showing a birch grove in the Åland Islands in the summer, the other, a picture of a similar natural setting in autumn. Several smaller landscapes by these two artists supplement the collection. On the wall above the small, exquisitely ornamented desk hangs a version of Akseli Gallen-Kallela’s well-known motif Fisherman from 1906.
