Art in the bedroom
Yrjö Liipola’s sculpture, Sitting Old Man (1906) is set on a large pedestal. The three marble sculptures in the corners of the room are made by the Italian sculptor P. Bazzanti’s gallery in Florence and can be assumed to be souvenirs from a trip to Italy. Among the paintings, particularly two portraits of the daughters by Elin Danielson-Gambogi can be noted. The one to the left depicts Kerstin; the one to the right Walborg, who biologically was the Consul's niece.
