Karkali Nature Reserve is one of the finest deciduous forest areas in southern Finland. Its landscape has a distinctive charm in every season—spring, summer, and autumn. The springtime display of anemones is unparalleled, and the autumn foliage glows in a stunning array of colors. In the nature reserve, visitors must stay on marked trails, and it is prohibited to light fires, or pick mushrooms or berries.
