Karnaistenkorpi is the largest contiguous outdoor area in Lohja, covering approximately 200 hectares. It features high rocky cliffs, valleys in between, small marsh patches, gently flowing forest streams, and two beautiful forest ponds. Visitors can enjoy the tranquility of nature and the feeling of a wilderness adventure. Along the trails, information boards provide insights into Karnaistenkorpi's vegetation, wildlife, habitats, and natural phenomena. A unique feature of the trail is that it crosses over the Helsinki-Turku motorway.
Karnaistenkorpi offers various routes of different lengths. You can follow the nature trail, which provides information about the area's flora and fauna, or explore the same route while following the story of the Korvenmäki Elf Family. In the southern part of the area, you can take the Korkiamäki hiking trail. The area is also accessible for mountain biking via service roads.
