Near the parish house and the church is the parish cemetery, which includes a hero's grave area. Heikki Konttinen's hero statue, featuring a relief of a standing soldier, was unveiled in 1955. The cemetery also features a sculpture by V. Höykinpuro, The Kneeling Girl, from 1967. The memorial for those who perished in Karelia was created by Veikko Leppänen in 1956. The hero statue of the Finnish War, created by an unknown artist, was erected by the veterans and comrades-in-arms of the War of Independence from Hartola. Through the efforts of the author Maila Talvio, the Forgotten Graves Cross was acquired for the cemetery.
