The roots of Kotkan Klubi ry go back to 1875, when this politically independent non-profit association was founded to provide members with the opportunity to discuss social and financial issues, among other topics. Club traditions are still maintained in the magnificent building completed in 1927, which now houses a popular lunch and à la carte restaurant. The Kotkan Klubi menu is based on carefully selected raw materials, and the historic setting creates a distinguished atmosphere. A specialty of the Klubi is the atmospheric speakeasy Salakapakka, where tasty cocktails are served to lounge guests.
