The Juva Karelians' Museum showcases a wide range of items brought from the former homelands of Karelian evacuees.

The Juva Karelians' Museum is located in the workers' quarters of Partala Manor, within the grounds of the Juva Museum. The museum began its operations in 1980. It is not an Orthodox museum. The collection is owned by the Juva Karelians' Association.

Karelians moved to Juva from nearly every village left behind after the border changes, with the largest number coming from Rautjärvi. The museum exhibits items brought by Karelian evacuees who settled in Juva after the Winter and Continuation Wars from their former homeland.

Juva was the main settlement area for people from Rautjärvi, so the museum has the largest collection of items from Rautjärvi. Among the exhibits are furniture and items related to farming and livestock. The museum also has a significant textile collection.

In summer 2025, the Partala Museums will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00-17:00, from June 10 to August 23 (closed during Midsummer). We are also available for group visits by appointment outside regular opening hours.

Admission prices: 4 € adults 2 € students, seniors 0 € children
