Church Banners are icons made of cloth. They depict the Dormition of Mother of God, sewn onto them with silver thread. Church banners are used in cross procession where the parish circles the church while carrying icons, banners, lanterns and a cross.  

These banners are original art pieces of the cathedral and are not in use anymore.
